Festivalzentrum Hangout: Films, Drinks & Tattoos

Our festival center is an open meeting place that invites you to linger with drinks on cold winter days: While your favorite shirt dries in our screen printing station with the freshly printed festival logo, dance videos by the festival artists, exciting discussions, workshops, (tattoo)-art and parties lure you deeper into the worlds of dance.  

Artist and tattooist Franziska Nast will be presenting a series of selected works under the title rrrrrrealdirrrrrtydancingfeet and will also be offering a few slots in which she will immortalise the motifs she has developed specifically for the site on visitors’ bodies.

Because inspiring conversations are always part of dance, we will be offering on friday with the panel discussions SPOTLIGHT ON THE SCENE and It's OVAH Hannover: The Essence, Evolution, and Legacy of Ballroom special insights into contemporary dance scene as well as the local and international voguing scene. And of course we invite you to dance yourself, too! There will be an opportunity to do so at the big opening party in the Cumberlandsche Bar with DJ sets by Orientalisman and VISÚ and the Cosmic Nights Kiki Ball aftershow party ...
