Opening Jam & Party

The Brujas Collective from Hanover presents an all styles jam session with a unique FLINTA* line up, including DJ femdelic from Berlin and DJ Kekeli. To their sound, everyone is invited who wants to share, freely interpret or learn new steps. Jam sessions are a mix of training and party, without mirrors, without control, and right or wrong. The focus here is on togetherness, a real dance experience. And that, in the most beautiful staircase in Hanover.

The Brujas are eight women - a multidisciplinary collective based in Hanover and an association since 2024. They provide simple answers to difficult topics and stand up for dance styles that are often not taken seriously. They recently performed at the SNNTG Festival with their comedy Collapse, which is about toxic masculinity as well as at the Berliner Festspiele as part of the Tanztreffen der Jugend with the piece Heatwave, which was dedicated to the death of Jina Mahsa Amini. They are currently working as curators or party organisers to give their hometown the glamour they feel as sisters.
